The incumbent will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple company departments and functions.Job Summary:The Accounts Payable Analyst provides disbursements analysis and reporting. The incumbent will develop, maintain and evaluate processing standards and internal controls.--S/he will work with the AP Manager to recommend improvements to enhance the departments effectiveness and will support initiatives to drive standardization.Job Details:* Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner* Subject matter expert for banking and payment related issues* Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors, providing timely response to all inquiries* Assist in the development of key performance measures to ensure the Accounts Payable Department is running efficiently and responds to stakeholder needs* Assist with month-end AP close and preparation of reports under tight deadlines* Analyze processes and recommend improvements to streamline department processes* Assume additional analytical responsibilities as assigned* Maintain and follow TMC Quality System requirements* Associate is responsible to follow requirements of applicable national and international regulations* Other duties as assignedPosition Requirements:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)-- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to transform data into meaningful and actionable insights-- Excellent collaborator with demonstrated capability to partner with other business functions and internal stakeholders-- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal, written and facilitation-- Strong organization skills-- Strong attention to detail-- Strong Customer Focus-- Technologically savvy and able to learn new software-- Ability to manage day to day activities and project workBackground Experiences-- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting-- 3+ years Accounts Payable experience.-- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, Power Point.-- Expertise in excel required, experienced with reporting and data base tools preferred ----- Experience with JDE, SAP, ARIBA, and other enterprise systems, a plus
