Regional Class A CDL Driver Home Daily

Pay Range: $23 - $26 per hour - based on experience

Quality Shipping and Logistics is looking for CDL Class A certified drivers who can be responsible for transporting general freight from distribution centers to customer locations. Drivers will be expected to commit to daily regionally.

Driver tasks are as follows, but are not limited to:

• Delivering freight, which may include hook and drop deliveries.
  
• Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
  
• Assisting workers in loading and unloading trucks.
  
• Mechanical inspection of truck.
  
• Operating different types of trucks.
  
• Perform inspections before and after a route.
  
• Follow appropriate safety procedures to transport sensitive cargo
  
• Maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
  Requirements:
  
  • Class A CDL License
    
  • High school diploma or GED.
    
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of CDL experience with a demonstrated history of route planning and timely delivery.
    
  • Credentials from CDL driver-training programs will also be considered.
