Job Description:

HCD Research - is a marketing and consumer sciences company that provides expert recommendations by employing traditional research measures and applied consumer neuroscience to optimize the design of marketing research projects for our clients.

We are now seeking a full-time dedicated, reliable and detail-oriented Marketing Research Analyst who enjoys working in a small team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of marketing research studies and reports for our clients.

In this position, you will, over time, be responsible for the following:
Design, development, and testing of quantitative and qualitative marketing communications, product development and consumer experience research studies.
Perform data analysis pertaining to research study data in order to provide written analysis of a variety of data types that will result in actionable conclusions and recommendations for client research questions.
Develop visual client research reports by applying cognitive research and applied neuroscience principles to research data and analysis.
Present research findings internally and to clients.
Work with Account Executives to understand client needs.
Supervise and work with outside consultants on more complex marketing research studies.

Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology and/or Sociology or an equivalent combination of training and experience
1-2 years of related work experience in the marketing research area preferred
Knowledge of basic statistical concepts (data significance, etc.)
Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as an enjoyment in creating visually appealing outputs
Proficient at creating report presentations in PowerPoint is desired
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Willingness and excitement to learn about new research methods
Knowledge of SPSS statistical software
