Now hiring for Warehouse Order Pickers. Our Warehouse Order Pickers would work a 2nd shift from 12pm-8:30pm, Monday-Friday and a 1st shift every other Saturday from 6am-2:30pm. Our Warehouse Order Pickers will be working in a temp to hire opportunity with our client. Our Warehouse Order Pickers will be utilizing an Order Picker for 75% of their role and 25% of their role will be performing other warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of product.   • Receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers; including but not limited to physical lifting, movement by powered and manual lift and material handling equipment
  • Accurately place and properly stack stock for storage in designated areas
  • Fulfilling orders by locating, transporting, offloading, scanning of outbound products
  • Order fulfillment tasks require physical lifting and the use of both manual and industrial powered equipment
  • Performing inventory cycle counts
  • Skilled operation of a stock picker at least 75% of the worktime on a regular basis
  • Review paperwork to ensure that all product has been pulled and ready for delivery or pick up.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse as well as complying with all safety regulations
  • Scan all product received and upload into computer system
  • Other duties as assigned by management to include product prep, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, 5S responsibilities, attending company required training and committee participationJob Requirements:
    • Must have forklift certification and order picker/cherry picker experience
    • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping and/or storage of goods
    • Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
    • Good communication skills, both written and oral
    • Be able to work up to about 35 feet high with a safety harness
    • Ability to move heavy items for several hours consecutively when pulling or putting away furniture
    • Basic knowledge of inventory procedures
    • Thorough understanding of the proper methods and procedures used in safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery
    • Understand internal control procedures for process of receiving product against purchase orders and packing slips and actions to reconcile
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
