Job Summary
Performs a variety of functions related to hospital payroll and
general accounting.
Essential Job Functions
+ Collects, reviews, and uploads bi-weekly information into UltiPro
payroll system. Verifies accuracy of data entry using audit reports
prior to transmission. Transmits payroll data to , UltiPro on a
timely basis (no later than 1PM on pay week Tuesday).

+ Organizes storage and filing of all payroll related employee
forms and bi-weekly reports, quarterly earnings reports, and annual
tax documents.
+ Acts as a liaison between UltiPro support and the Payroll
Department on ALL time and attendance and Payroll issues. Problem
solves to improve efficiencies.
+ Computes earnings and deductions for manual paychecks, prepares
check and inputs detailed data into payroll system.
+ Serves as primary contact for payroll related matters for Human
Resources, department heads, and employees. Responds promptly to
all inquiries.
+ Runs and reviews reports developed by Financial-Payroll Analyst
to ensure the completeness and quality of data maintained in the
Payroll-HR System. Maintains any related business rules-background
tables in Ultipro Core and UTA.
+ Acts as a backup to the Financial-Payroll Analyst with regards to
that positions job description.
+ Analyzes payroll data and prepares reports for cost reporting and
cost accounting as needed by department and consultants.
+ Reconciles various bank statements excluding the Payroll account.
Prepares and processes journal entries on a monthly basis to
reflect corrections, additions, and deletions identified during
reconciliation.
+ Ad-hoc analyses as needed. Other duties as assigned
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience
*
+ 21 credits Accounting degree from AICPA accredited accounting
program.
+ Detail oriented and able to prioritize work flow.
+ Strong working knowledge of payroll function.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Above average Microsoft Excel skills.
