here. The Lead Business Analyst works closely with internal project
teams, technical IT staff, and external clients to document
business and functional requirements, analyze requirements and
workflows, and identify solution alternatives to meet client needs.
The Lead Business Analyst provides innovative thought leadership
around Mathematica's solutions strategy and approach, including
staying up-to-date commercially available software applicable to
Mathematica's offerings. Core Responsibilities: Lead diverse teams
within the systems and technology department throughout the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.Lead project teams
and manage project deliverables and budgets for a variety of
clients.Represent Mathematica on projects with high profile client
facing roles.Demonstrate client-centricity by understanding client
needs and embedding that knowledge into proposal and project
solutions.Acts as liaison with other departments to identify
business system needs, propose existing solutions to meet those
needs, and partner internally and externally to address any gaps
identified.Provides innovative thought leadership around
Mathematica's solutions strategy and approach, including staying
up-to-date commercially available software applicable to
Mathematica's offerings.Leads, coaches, and mentors through example
by participating in requirements, design, and documentation
activities.Lead proposal activities including strategy,
brainstorming, writing and budgeting.Actively support the
advancement of organizational diversity, equity and inclusion
efforts, and apply diversity, equity and inclusion lens across job
responsibilities.Additional duties may be assigned as
needed.Position Requirements: Functional Knowledge (Preferred):
Knowledge of modern SDLC processes like Waterfall, Agile, or
IterativeUnderstanding of UX and UIAbility to translate verbal
communications to written requirementsAbility to contribute
substantively to business development and proposal writingEducation
minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in technology or related
field plus 10 or more years working in business systems analysis;
or a combination of equivalent education and work experience may be
substituted for the above requirements.Years of Relevant
Experience: Ten or more year of experience serving as analyst or
consultant for technology solutions on client projectsTen or more
years of experience in technical project management utilizing
different SDLC's: Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative;Ten or more years
of experience aligning technology teams, client-facing teams, and
leadership to deliver technology solutions that meet client needs
and expectationsTen or more years of experience managing

offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $100,000 to
$135,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
based on company and individual performance. Various federal
agencies with whom we contract require that staff successfully
undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a
condition of working on the project. If you are assigned to such a
project, you will be required to obtain the requisite security
clearance. Must be able to pass a public trust background
