(Strategic Customer Group-SCG) is recruiting for a Contract Manager, Fee for Services, Complex Programs that can be based in the Titusville, NJ, Horsham, PA with possibility to other JNJ office locations based on approval. Job Summary: This position is responsible for the creation and management of agreements between JJHCS, JOM, Janssen or J&J affiliates on behalf of Janssen, and complex program suppliers, Specialty Pharmacies, Wholesalers/Distributors, and other related customers for a variety of services that support patients who have been prescribed a Janssen product. This individual will have a primary alignment to the Director of Offer Development; implement the SCG Contract Management Mission and Vision for distribution, complex supplier programs, and fee for service engagements with customers; and be responsible for the strategic design and development of agreements in collaboration with the Law Department, HCC, Privacy, Finance, Pharmacovigilance, Safety Services, Procurement, Brand Teams, and Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions team. Main Responsibilities Execute Approved, Fee for Service Engagements, and Complex Supplier Programs: Negotiate and Execute Master Agreements, Amendments, Notices, Waivers, Scopes of Work, etc. (Contract Documents), with customers and suppliers as assigned by the Director of Offer Development or the Sr. Contract Manager of Offer Development. The Contract Documents reflect CPC approved strategies, where applicable. All Contract Documents are based on approved templates. Exceptions to the approved templates are reviewed with the Sr. Contract Manager, Offer Development and/or the appropriate J&J legal counsel, as needed and may require CPC approval, prior to execution. Negotiate Contracts: Serve as the lead negotiator for high complexity Agreements or novel arrangements between Janssen or J&J affiliates on behalf of Janssen and its customers and complex program suppliers. Develop Process Narratives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI): Develop Process Narratives, SOPs and WIs that define the approved procedures for developing and executing Agreements with customers and complex program suppliers. Ensure that all approved documents are uploaded in the appropriate records management system for easy access by the Offer Development and the J&J legal team and tracked for metrics analysis. Ensure that all Agreement templates are drafted in a compliant manner: Ensure that all Agreements comply with the laws and regulations that govern the Pharmaceutical industry, the Guidance Documents issued by the J&J Legal Department, and Janssen policies and procedures. Records Retention: Ensure that all executed documents are managed per JJHCS Records Management procedures in TRIM or eICD. Assist in Issue Resolution, Post Contract Execution: Serve as the liaison between Account Management, Trade, Channel Management, Operations, PECS or Program Owners, to resolve issues involving contract language and payment issues, after the contract is executed. QualificationsEducation and Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years business related experience, including contract management experience is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience drafting and/or negotiating contracts is required. Preferred Skills
  • Experience in contract management for, distribution, Complex Supplier Programs and/or Fee for Service Agreements is preferred.
  • Juris Doctorate or Para legal certification, MBA or advanced degree. Other:
  • Up to 20% travel between the Janssen sites in Pennsylvania and New Jersey required. Essential Skills

  • Established organizational skills and the ability to work independently and make decisions in an ambiguous and complex environment
  • Proven track record of working in a matrixed environment.
  • Leadership skills needed to indirectly manage contract managers. Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and coach and train new contract managers.
