Job Description:

Our enterprise-level client in Raritan, NJ, has an immediate need to add an IT Hardware Shipping Clerk to a long-term existing global IT hardware refresh project. -This role does NOT require prior IT experience, but does afford the chance for somebody with shipping and logistics experience to break into an IT environment. -The max pay we can offer for this role is $15 per hour. -Please see below for full details--

Job Notes-
--12+ month contract / extendable / we have people who have been on this project for well over a year
--100% onsite in Raritan, NJ
--ASAP start
--Hours = 8a-5p M-F (first shift)
--Exclusive - hiring 1 spot
--Very fast hiring process - 1 video interview
--Must pass a drug and background check.
--Vaccination required. -

IT Hardware Shipping Clerk -

Responsibilities:
-Make sure outgoing shipments of finished product are the same as records and record the data in the ERP system
-Organize shipment using portal and ERP system.
-Collect records for receiving, storing, issuing, supplies and equipment.
-Help with cycle counts to maintain correct inventory.
-Track schedule, pick rates for ability to help customers.
-Answer phone, data, record pick up or drop off PO numbers, including dates and times.

Requirements:
-Prior experience in shipping and / or logistic in a post office, Fed Ex, or UPS (or similar) preferred.
-Must adhere to all safety procedures
-Must willing to work overtime as needed
-Must be able to score satisfactory on pre-employment assessment

Skills/Experience:
-Must be able to solve practical problem under limited supervision
-MS Office; Word and Excel Preferred
