**Inventory Control**Status Open Location North Brunswick, NJ USA Distek, Inc., a rapidly growing leader in the scientific instrumentation field, located in North Brunswick, New Jersey is currently seeking an Individual for **Inventory Control.****Responsibilities**This position reports to the Inventory & Receiving Supervisor. The major responsibilities of the position are:* Receiving + On a daily basis, the following must be performed for all incoming items: - Verify all information and count of parts to packing slip- Inspect received parts for obvious damage- Enter information into M1 ERP System- Identify and resolve any open receiving issues with Supply Chain- Package handling of boxes up to 20 lbs.- Movement of heavy or bulky items on a cart or hand truck * Inventory Control + Interface with Supply Chain to ensure that all items are received in a timely basis+ On a daily basis, the following must be performed: - Properly stock received items on shelves- Deliver returned items to Customer Supplies product area- Count and label with bar code, new items and enter information into Inventory Database- Ensure that actual inventory matches the Inventory Database by randomly selecting items for physical count- Scan items out of inventory for production, service, engineering and sales personnel- Based on production schedule, prepare assembly kits + Coordinate all Nonconforming products - Verify all nonconforming products are clearly tagged and segregated- Record information into the Non-Conforming Products Database * Participate in projects as assigned * Perform all responsibilities in adherence to ISO standards*Position Descriptions are subject to modification by Distek management without prior notice.***EEO policy**Distek, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
