The Associate Director, Production Management Lead is a critical
partner for the Brand and Omni Channel Planning teams, seeking to
create a single point of contact for execution across Digital and
Print materials for a high-volume brand, therapeutic area, or
franchise. This role is responsible for leading a team of
Production Managers and partnering with our external Production
agency. Collectively, this extended team manages the production of
marketing assets on behalf of the Brand and Omni-Channel Planning
team. The Production Lead role is responsible for Production Budget
planning and resource allocation based on brand strategic
priorities and Omni- Channel tactical plans and ensuring tactical
campaigns are properly executed, driven by content module approval
and in accordance with tactical activity calendar updates. In
addition, this role makes recommendations to support the ongoing
optimization of BMS operational models, creates and contributes to
an engaging team culture, and models the BMS core values.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the
following:
Leads a team of Production Managers; responsible for hiring and
onboarding
Collaborates with the Production agency leadership on all marketing
material execution escalations/solutions and training
Resource planning & allocation - oversees team's tactic-based
workload and volume within the Adobe Workfront system by extracting
and analyzing reports
Owns the Production Budget for set of brands/indications or a
Therapeutic area - provides the Omni-Channel Experience Planning
team with ongoing financial reporting across production/execution,
reconciles on monthly basis.
Cross-collaborates on the content planning timing to execute
required campaigns
Collaborates with Omni-Channel Experience Planning, Capability
Leads, and IT to schedule resources and plan executions
Tracks campaigns development and coordinates across the matrix to
meet deadlines where timing may be challenged
Understand/review KPIs and campaign analytics with Business
Intelligence & Analytics to help assess content performance to
prepare for course corrections and enhancements
Attend or run status meetings for Brand/Therapeutic area with
matrix participants as needed
Learn and leverage tools used to support project management,
workflow, timelines, and budget. Identify potential issues or
simplification opportunities where relevant. May lead related
projects in partnership with IT.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Campaign marketing
5+ years in marketing and/or activation in large complex
organization
3+ years of Print and Digital marketing management planning and
budget allocation experience
2+ years Project Management experience
Familiarity with Agile Principles
Strong leadership skills and experience leading a team of two or
more
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in highly matrix
organization
Experience working with marketing asset specifications, templates,
content management systems, MLR process, and operational
workflows
Experience managing external vendors, building business
relationships to best manage budgets and invoicing including vendor
performance management
Highly organized and detailed oriented, accustomed to fast-paced
settings
Understands marketing data performance and how it informs
decision-making
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem-solver, with solution orientation
Experience with Pharma marketing and launch scenarios, a plus
