Description: Job Title: Behavioral Health Recovery Technician HousingReports To: Director of Operations Shifts Available: Part-time day, Part-time overnight (multiple available)Position Overview:A Recovery Technician (Housing) is responsible for the complete care and well-being of clients while they are residing at SOBA New Jersey's Sober Living Facility during the course of their treatment. This position includes but is not limited to observing the day-to-day behaviors and whereabouts for clients involved in differing levels of the housing program, reporting any concerning behaviors to the appropriate parties, providing encouragement and support for clients while they navigate early recovery, promoting 12-step recovery involvement, and ensuring the overall safety and well-being for all clients and staff residing and working in the residence. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and provide support to individuals in early recovery Oversee the day-to-day activities of housing clients Ensure all documentation and log entries are accurately completed in a timely manner through EMR Perform and monitor random urine drug screens when necessary, and daily breathalyzers Ensure all housing clients adhere to treatment schedule Provide client transportation when necessary Organize and supervise client activities Maintain cleanliness of common areas, and inventory of technician office Participate in staff meetings when necessary Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences Abide by SOBA New Jersey's code of ethics and moral values Requirements: High school diploma or GED If in recovery, must have at least two (2) years sober Experience working in Substance Abuse/Mental Health programs preferred, but not requiredPI216046743
