We have an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Inspector to serve as our client's on-site representative to oversee a challenging construction project for the installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems at our client's facilities throughout Burlington and Camden Counties in New Jersey.
The PV systems to be installed range will have a combined rated capacity of up to 600kW per site, with all required system components interconnected with each respective utility service. Additionally, deployment of a PV monitoring system will be effectuated through the client's existing BMS platform. This position requires both an inspector and problem solver.
Successful candidates will provide inspection and coordination activities for the construction of this highly visible solar energy project for the client by ensuring quality and conformance to contract documents by contractors; making decisions in a timely matter to bring projects in on time and under budget and anticipate potential construction problems before they arise.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Inspect contractor's materials and work to ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and industry standards.
  
• Ensure installed components function per the design intent.
  
• Identify and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
  
• Attend project meetings.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Licensed DCA Electrical Inspector or Licensed Professional Engineer with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design or construction and NEC conversant.
    
  • Knowledgeable on utility company standards.
    
  • Valid NJ driver's license.
