role contribute to our collective success?The Insurance Operations
Quality Analyst is a pivotal role within our underwriting
operations, ensuring the adherence to established standards for
quality throughout the policy life cycle. This role is instrumental
in maintaining transparency through regular reporting and offering
insightful suggestions for enhancement.The role involves supporting
the underwriting process by completing regular audits of various
Operations employees, both in cycle and focused, and managing
documentation-including, but not limited to policy issuance,
technical support, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines
and regulatory requirements. The QA also communicates with members
of the Operations staff and various levels of Management to ensure
optimal customer service is being provided.What will you do in this
role?
- Data Review:
- Conduct audits of underwriting and operational processes to
ensure compliance.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of insured details, risk
factors, and policy specifications, facilitating timely acquisition
and proper filing of additional underwriting information.
- Thoroughly review underwriting documents and policies to
guarantee compliance with company guidelines and regulatory
standards.
- Maintain accurate account files and underwriting documentation
while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and other
transactions for processing accuracy.
- Accurately record premium bookings for all relevant
transactions.
- Monitor performance to ensure adherence to established Service
Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
- Ensure accurate reflection of account information across all
systems of record.
- Staff Engagement and Communication:
- Engage with internal staff to gather information, clarify
details, and provide updates.
- Act as a point of contact for the Operations team and
underwriters, offering guidance and suggesting best practices to
Management.
- Participate in User Acceptance testing when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and
standardization.
- Provide monthly audit result reports to Operations Management,
including summaries, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Team Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments and colleagues to address
inquiries, resolve issues, and streamline workflow processes.
- Foster open communication within the team environment,
contributing value to the North American Operations Team.You may
also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and
activities appropriate to the nature of this role.About You:We

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field
preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in the commercial insurance
industry as an Underwriter Assistant or equivalent insurance
experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of Operations Processes (including Quality
Assurance) and relevant Rules and Compliance requirements.
- Solid understanding of Property and Casualty insurance coverage
is necessary.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, capable of
independently interacting with internal and external business
partners such as brokers on behalf of Operations and Underwriting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and
Outlook), or similar software is necessary.
- Strong aptitude for learning new computer/software programs is
required.
- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude are

Factors:In this role, you will typically be required to:Embrace the
hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per
week.Much of the work involves using computers for data entry,
analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is
necessary.While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be
occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as
attending meetings or accessing filing systems.What we offer:For
this position in the US, we currently expect to offer a base salary
in the range of 65k to 85k. Your salary offer will be based on an
assessment of a variety of factors including your specific
experience and work location.In addition, you will be offered
competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on
overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you
