Job Description:
Vice President - Sales & Marketing The VP of Sales & Marketing
is responsible for leading the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key duties include creating and executing sales and marketing
strategies, hiring and developing team members, establishing and
fostering quality business relationships with current and future
customers, implementing best practice sales methodologies to drive
additional business, and managing the sales budget. Position
reports to CEO of the Division Direct Reports: Field Sales, Inside
Sales, Marketing, Distributors Key Customer Markets: Mobility
Solutions for Defense, Security, Commercial The right person will,
first and foremost, be a great leader--- someone who is just as
passionate about the people as they are the processes. You are
tenacious and persistent, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and have
high expectations of self and team to deliver results that are good
for both the customer and the organization. And you love a good
challenge! Responsibilities include--- --- Develop and implement
the Company's sales and marketing plan aligned with long term
strategic plan and business goals --- Provide key metrics of
performance and develop strategies to improve --- Direct sales
budget, forecasting activities and set performance goals
accordingly --- Review market data for new client opportunities ---
Manage and measure sales distributors to meet and exceed goals ---
Represent company along with salespeople at various trade
association meetings --- Meet with key clients, maintain
relationships while pursuing, negotiating and closing deals ---
Deliver sales presentations to customers and prospective customers
as required --- Serve as a liaison between the sales department and
other departments of the organization --- Analyze and control
expenditures of the division according to annual budget ---
Domestic and international travel as needed Qualification
Requirements --- Experience managing a sales team for a
manufacturer --- Defense industry sales experience is strongly
preferred with an emphasis on defense contracting --- Strong public
speaking, presentation, and negotiation skills --- Ability to lead
with minimal direction and possess strong decision-making skills
--- Highly motivated to achieve, excellent analytical and
organizational skills, sound judgment and reasoning --- Effectively
and professionally communicate with internal team as well as
customers --- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications About The

a portfolio of products in vibration control. This particular
division, based in New Jersey - in close proximity to the Delaware
Valley area - works primarily in the Defense Market as well as
Security and Industrial. Customers rely heavily on this team's
quality products and innovative engineering in mobility
products
