National Account Sales Team Strategic Sales Manager - National
Accounts Location: Remote with Travel / Headquarters: Plains PA
Clopay National Accounts (Storefronts Division) is seeking a proven
Strategic Sales Manager with a strong background in outside B2B
sales, specifically within the commercial door industry. This role
is responsible for driving growth through national account
development, with a focus on both new construction and retrofit
projects across commercial, retail, and industrial markets. We are
looking for a sales professional who excels at developing
contractor and end-user relationships and has the ability to manage
complex, multi-phase projects from lead to close. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to: Drive revenue growth through new
national account acquisition in the commercial door market Maintain
and expand relationships with existing clients across multiple
verticals, including construction, retail, and industrial sectors
Work collaboratively with internal Sales Operations and Project
Management teams throughout the full project lifecycle Present
Clopay's value proposition to contractors, architects, facility
managers, and procurement teams Create and deliver tailored
proposals, presentations, and product solutions Identify
cross-selling opportunities and support the growth of existing
accounts Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings to stay
ahead in the market Utilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline,
activity, and account progress Travel up to 25% for client
meetings, project site visits, and periodic travel to our Plains,
PA headquarters Job Requirements: 6-8 years of outside sales
experience in the commercial door, access systems, or related
building materials industry Proven track record in national account
management and project-based sales Experience selling through
contractor networks and directly to commercial end-users
Familiarity with construction documents, architectural plans, and
project timelines. Preferred Background: Bachelor's degree
preferred (Business, Construction Management, or related field)
Strong knowledge of commercial door systems, including storefront
and industrial applications Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and
strategic in sales planning Excellent communication, negotiation,
and relationship management skills Ability to work
cross-functionally and drive alignment across project stakeholders
