Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Description: Position Title:
Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology Company
Background: Century Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology
company building an industry-leading allogeneic iPSC-derived cell
therapy platform. This platform integrates cutting-edge gene
editing, protein engineering, technical development, and
manufacturing capabilities to generate allogeneic, iPSC-derived NK
and T cell therapies for cancer, autoimmune, and inflammatory
diseases. Century’s foundational technology is built on induced
pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), which have an unlimited
self-renewing capacity. This enables complex cellular engineering
to produce controlled cell banks of modified cells that can be
expanded and differentiated into desired immune effector cells,
which can supply vast amounts of allogeneic, homogeneous
therapeutic products. This platform differentiates Century from
other approaches that utilize non-renewable donor-derived cell
products for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune and
inflammatory diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Role:
The Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology will be
responsible for developing, scaling up, implementing, and executing
manufacturing processes for Century’s cellular therapy programs.
The candidate will be expected to lead a team responsible for tech
transfers, implement processes into our in house GMP manufacturing
facility, and be a hands on operator for the Phase I manufacturing

development on these programs including scale up and
characterization. This role requires extensive collaboration with
internal and external teams. The successful candidate will need
strong scientific background, interpersonal skills, and ability to
work collaboratively with other groups across organizations. This

documents for regulatory filings (e.g. IND, BLA) in collaboration
with other parts of organization • Foster a collaborative and

external conferences and/or meetings? Qualifications: • PhD in
biological, technical, or cell engineering field with 4-6 years
relevant experience, or BS/MS degree with 10 years of relevant
professional experience. Requirements: • Experience in design,
optimization, scale-up, bioreactors, process control, and
technology transfer of cell culture unit operations. • Hands-on
experience with analytical methods typically used in the
manufacture and characterization of cell therapies or biological
products • Mammalian cell culture using closed system and
automated/dynamic technologies • Proficiency with statistical
