Senior Accountant Opportunity CFS is partnering with an industry-leading real estate redevelopment project in Brooklyn, NY, to hire an Accountant . This role offers an incredible opportunity to contribute to a transformative, mixed-use office and retail campus housing diverse businesses and high-profile tenants, including the Brooklyn Nets headquarters. Experience in commercial real estate is highly favored and will distinguish candidates in this competitive hiring process. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: Perform forensic account analysis on financial reporting, balance sheets, and related-party transactions. Maintain accounting integrity by preparing and reviewing journal entries. Oversee cash management and perform detailed bank reconciliations. Manage and consolidate financial data for accurate accounting at both the consolidated and unit levels. Oversee the budget process, including automation using MRI software. Supervise accounts payable, including credit card purchases, expense reports, and coding. Qualifications of the Senior Accountant: 3-5 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience with MRI Software and Spreadsheet Server is a plus.
